For your safety, the power plug on your Glow will automatically turn off when there is no internet connection to the device for 30 minutes. You can toggle this safety feature on/off in the 'Settings' icon.  Settings > Automatic Shutoff > On/Off

Glow is always on when it is plugged in. If the light on the power button on Glow is lighted up that means the device plugged into Glow is also powered on. If the button light is off, this means the device plugged into Glow is not on. 

Any manual interaction with the Glow will override the triggers you have set. You can do this at anytime to manually power down any device plugged into Glow.
