Managing Your Awair Account

Overview

Your Awair Account gives you access to your real-time and historical air measurements through the Awair App. If you’re running into any trouble managing your Awair Account or logging into your Awair App, please read through the tips below!

Getting Started

You can download the Awair App from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Once logged in, you can use your app to monitor your air remotely, browse tips to help you improve your air, review your historical trends, and check out your recent notifications.

Keep in mind, your Awair 2nd Edition(“Awair”) can only be connected to one Awair Account at a time. If you’d like to share access to manage your Awair and review your air measurements with family members or housemates, they can log into your Awair Account with their phones to explore the air in your environment . Please be careful when sharing your credentials with others.

 

Creating an Awair Account

Creating an Awair Account is simple! You can create an account with an email address, or use Facebook or Google to create an account and log in to your Awair App.

From the Awair App:

  1. Tap Sign up using E-mail.
  2. Enter your email address and create a secure password. Both will be case sensitive!
  3. Check your email inbox to confirm your account. Look for an email from hello@getawair.com with the subject “[Awair] Email Confirmation”.
  4. Tap SET UP ACCOUNT to finalize your account setup.

Note: The Enterprise Dashboard web portal is a subscription-based service available only to Awair Omni users. This means that customers using Awair 1st Edition, 2nd Edition, Element, and Glow do not have access to a desktop-based portal. We recommend using our free Awair Home App, which can be downloaded via the Google Play or iOS App Store.

Managing and Recovering Your Password

There are a few ways to manage the password to your Awair Account.

To reset your password when logged into the Awair App:

  1. Tap on the account icon to access your Account Settings.
  2. Tap Password to reset your password.
  3. Tap Send to send an email with instructions to create a new password.
  4. Look for an email from hello@getawair.com with the subject “[Awair] Reset your password”.

To recover your password when you’re not logged into the Awair App:

  1. Tap Already have an account? Log In.
  2. Tap Forgot your password?.
  3. Enter the email address you used to create your Awair Account. Remember, it’s case sensitive!
  4. Look for an email from hello@getawair.com with the subject “[Awair] Reset your password”.

Managing your Awair Account’s Email Address

At the moment, there isn't a method to adjust the email address associated with your Awair Account. We recommend creating a new account by performing a Factory Reset on the unit, signing out of the Awair app, and signing up with a new email address.

 

Once a new account is created, the historical sensor data for the previous account will not be available. Feel free to reach out to us for a complete historical sensor data export.
