As part of iOS 13’s privacy improvements, the Awair app must ask permission to access Bluetooth in iOS 13 if they need to access Bluetooth on your iPhone.

Follow these quick tips to change or update Bluetooth permissions in iOS and iPadOS

  • To access and change iPhone Bluetooth permission settings, go to Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth and toggle Awair Home App on/off

 

For Android:

As part of Android 10’s privacy improvements, the Awair app must be granted permission to access the user's location.

Follow these quick tips to change or update Bluetooth permissions for Android devices

  • To access and change Android Bluetooth permission settings, go to Settings > Apps & Notifications > Advanced > App Permissions and locate the Awair Home App, tap the ON/OFF toggle switch to enable or disable permissions
